Ancestry visited DIGI-TEXX
In August 2013, DIGI-TEXX had a meeting with Ancestry – one of the key customers of the company. Ancestry is a well established and known company in the U.S.. The largest for-profit genealogy company in the world, it operates a network of genealogical and historical record websites focused on the United States and nine foreign countries, develops and markets genealogical software, and offers a wide array of genealogical related services. As of September 2012, the company provided access to approximately 11 billion records, 40 million family trees, and 2 million paying subscribers (source: Wikipedia).
At the end of 2012, DIGI-TEXX has honored to become the digitization service provider for Ancestry. Currently, the project has attracted over 100 Data Processing Operators of DIGI-TEXX, average productivity reaches 500,000 records per month. Early 2014, DIGI-TEXX will continue to invest in technology, modern facilities and qualified staffs to improve the productivity coming up to 1 million records per month from early 2014.
Founded in 2003, DIGI-TEXX is known as one of the best companies providing digitization services from local to global especially in Europe. Today, DIGI-TEXX not only continues to develop business services but also expand to the U.S., Israel, Japan, … Most projects which are done by DIGI-TEXX are specific and high complex, not simple data entry that requires experienced and skilled employees to meet the requirements. However, after only a short time, with a huge knowledge about old documents and the support of departments, we have built a large library of training materials effectively and optimized the diverse capturing software, combine manual and automatic processes. The first projects were very successful, also from our customer’s point of view. I believe that we will get more success for the next projects.”
